Do you look in the mirror and wish for a natural-looking reduction in fine lines and wrinkles? Or Maybe a softer and brighter appearance?
Botulinum Toxin is injected gently with a fine needle, takes only a few minutes to administer, and has little to no downtime.
Results are visible within 3-10 days, and effects last 3-4 months on average.
The most requested areas for anti-wrinkle injections are the dynamic lines around the eyes and forehead. However, they can also be used to minimise the lines around the mouth, nose, smooth the chin, relax the jawline and masseters, neck bands and lift to the brow.

Treatment requirements vary from patient to patient and depend on the area being treated. The number of units required will be determined during consultation.

How many treatments will I need?
Dr Claire Jacobsohn will prepare and administer the injections. The number of units needed will be dependent on your facial profiling and which area is being treated. Minimum interval of 12 weeks between treatments is generally advised.

Treatments take effect after 3 to 10 days. Top-ups may be required.
The effect generally lasts three to four months.

Thread treatments are customised according to each patient’s individual needs and treatment area.
Available thread treatments include PDO collagen-stimulating mono threads, PDO neck threads, PDO MINT Fine for the mid-face and jaw, and brow lift treatments.
The type and number of threads required will depend on the patient’s assessment and treatment goals. Results and longevity vary according to the threads used, with treatments generally lasting between 6 and 12 months.

What type of Medication is dispensed/Included?
This is patient dependent. Generally, you will receive HCG Booster injections which aid in reducing hunger and redistributing body fat evenly. You will also receive a supplement which treats high blood sugar levels and obesity related to compulsive overeating as it prevents the absorption of carbohydrates and increase satiety. Another supplement is a proprietary, caffeine free, catechin extract from green tea formulation. This improves the uptake of the product ingredients in the blood stream and of course serves as detoxification.
The above is merely to mention a few as it is all dependent on each patient, their needs and requirements.

Scar Treatments
We offer a number of treatments for scar revisions that are customized according to individual requirements.
How a scar is treated is dependent on a number of factors, including:

Treatment Details
Sessions are spaced at 1 monthly interval, and generally, 3-8 sessions are required on average. The cost is dependent on which treatment is better suited. In some cases, the scar needs to be prepped prior to treatment to prevent any pigmentation. Some scars may also present as keloids which will need to be injected prior to treatment.
PRP (platelet rich plasma) may also be performed.

Nano fat transfer, also known as micro fat transfer, is a cosmetic procedure where small amounts of fat are removed from an area where excess fat is present and injected into another area where the fat can be used for corrective work, small volume lift and augmentation. The treatment is also referred to as nano fat grafting and micro fat grafting. Nano Fat is for men and women , who want to enhance or change the appearance of their face, body and hands or improve the growth of their hair, treat visible scars or reduce the unwanted effects of aging. Fat transfer is the ideal process to achieve such goals. Fat transfer to the face, body, hands and scalp, irrespective of the reasons for making the change, can be accomplished using a minimal amount of fat.

What are the Side Effects of the Nano Fat Transfer procedure?
Some patients experience post-procedure side effects, such as swelling and redness. Fortunately, these side effects are temporary and typically subside a few days after the procedure.
What are the side effects of the weight loss treatment?
Initially the change may cause you to experience sensations like nausea, vomiting and headaches until your body has adapted. These minimal side effects generally last on and off for 2 – 7 days at the most (should you experience them.)
Should I be tested for bacterial infections before proceeding with the Nano Fat Transfer?
If there is reason to and if you may have been exposed, then it may be recommended. This can be confirmed by Dr Claire Jacobsohn during consultation.
Can I have more than one procedure on the same area?
We are able to perform Lipolysis fat removal from the area where fat is extracted, this procedure entails gentle suction under local anaesthesia and light sedation. Up to 3 litres of fat can be aspirated using Ultra Z per session. No, not on the same area. Generally, fat is extracted from areas where fat is present – popular areas being the abdomen, love handles etc. This is then treated, and the fat is inserted into your concerned area for instance Breasts, Buttocks etc.
What can I expect after the Nano Fat Transfer?
Nano fat transfer procedures have a minimum to no downtime. You won’t be spending weeks recuperating as you would in case of a surgical facelift. Instead, you only have to consider a few aftercare instructions to minimise any side effects.
Can I start the procedure if I have a confirmed virus and I am on antibiotics?
No. You will need to be in good health.
Will I be sedated during the procedure?
No. You will be under local Anaesthetic. What this means is that you will be awake, however, unable to feel pain.

Chemical Peels
It’s a non-evasive and gentle way of removing the damaged outer layers of the skin. Chemical peels can be used on any area of the body, the most common areas being the face, hands and chest. A series of peels can effectively slow down the ageing process by improving hydration, skin barrier function, pigmentation, skin firmness, wrinkles, roughness, pore size and redness.

Sclerotherapy
At TAHQ we perform spider/thread vein removal on the legs with a procedure known as sclerotherapy. This involves tiny injections into the veins which cause the veins to collapse, preventing further blood flow through the veins. Sclerotherapy is quick and painless and yields excellent results.
Essential Information
- The veins scar closed.
- 1-4 sessions are required on average.
- These are spaced at 2-6 weekly intervals.
- The cost starts R3500/session, and the treatment takes 45 min hour to perform.
- Elastic compression stockings must be worn after the treatment for 3-7 days.
Larger veins may require 2 weeks after each session in compression stockings.
Maintenance is performed as required.

Hyperpigmentation and Melasma
What is Pigmentation?
Melanocytes are a type of cell that create a pigment called melanin in the skin, hair, and eyes.
An increase in the production of melanin darkens the skin tone and leaves the skin blotchy and uneven. Areas can be small or large, and multiple body areas are often affected.
Common triggers of hyperpigmentation include:
- Skin inflammation and injuries (PIH)
- Hormones, including contraceptives, pregnancy and foods that are high in oestrogen.

IPL & FRACTIONAL RF (VENUS VIVA)

IPL (skin type I-III)
Intense Pulse Light Therapy (IPL) uses a spectrum of light shined onto the skin to treat a variety of skin and vein issues. Because the light is concentrated and focused, IPL treatment does not damage surrounding tissue.
IPL is used for photo rejuvenation where longer wavelengths of light are applied to the skin in order to destroy old collagen and stimulate the production of new collagen, leading to firmer and softer skin. IPL is also used to treat scars and acne, pigmentation, freckles and non-cancerous skin lesions.
Clinical results for the use of IPL vary with skin type. Individuals with fair to light brown skin experience the best results from IPL. Individuals who tan easily have varied results, and IPL is not recommended for some individuals with dark skin.
Venus Viva (skin type I-VI)
Venus Viva creates micro-wounds in the inner layer of the skin for collagen stimulation and new skin to form. Acne scars will be lighter with lesser depression because when the new skin forms, it fills in the “holes”.
PRP HAIR RESTORATION TREATMENT
By harvesting these for re-injection through a simple blood sample that is centrifuged, PRP injections allow concentrated platelets from a person’s blood and to re-inject them into parts of the body that require it. Doing so helps to naturally, promote healing.
